Pen Friend Connection is a Christ-centered prison ministry dedicated to bringing hope, encouragement, and spiritual support to incarcerated individuals through intentional correspondence. The ministry provides a safe and structured platform where inmates seeking friendship, prayer partners, and spiritual guidance can connect with caring Christian mentors from the community.

Through PenFriendConnection.com, incarcerated individuals are featured through approved online profiles, allowing mentors to prayerfully select and communicate with an inmate using permitted correspondence methods such as traditional mail or approved electronic messaging. Pen Friend Connection exists to remind those behind bars that they are not forgotten and that God’s grace remains available to all, regardless of past mistakes or present circumstances.

Our Mission:

To glorify God by offering Christ-centered encouragement, prayer, and spiritual mentorship to incarcerated individuals through meaningful correspondence that fosters hope, accountability, and spiritual growth.

      • Inmate Profile Outreach: Creating and maintaining secure online profiles for incarcerated individuals seeking spiritual support and prayer partners.

      • Spiritual Mentorship: Connecting inmates with screened Christian mentors who provide encouragement, Scripture-based guidance, and prayer through approved correspondence.

      • Prayer Partnership: Promoting consistent prayer for inmates, their families, mentors, and correctional facilities.

      • Resource Support: Providing Bibles, spiritual literature, stamps, and correspondence supplies to inmates who lack access to these resources.

      • Mentor Training & Accountability: Equipping mentors with training materials, guidelines, and ethical standards to ensure safe, Christ-honoring relationships.

      • Digital Ministry Stewardship: Maintaining PenFriendConnection.com as a secure and accessible platform for outreach, communication, and ministry operations.

      The Adopt-A-Grandparent Ministry exists to ensure no senior feels forgotten. Through a simple, loving process, we connect elderly individuals with compassionate volunteers and caring donors who help restore dignity, joy, and a sense of family.

      • Incarcerated individuals apply or are referred to be listed on PenFriendConnection.com

      • Profiles highlight interests, spiritual goals, prayer requests, and preferred communication methods

      • All profiles are screened and managed by Simply H.I.S. Ministries

      • Volunteers choose an inmate profile that resonates with them

      • Mentors commit to Christ-centered encouragement through letters, emails, prayer, and Scripture

      • Communication follows all facility and ministry guidelines

      • Communication takes place via approved snail mail or electronic messaging services

      • Emphasis is placed on spiritual growth, accountability, hope, and discipleship

      • No financial dependency or inappropriate relationships are permitted

      Ministry Support & Donations

      Those who feel called to support the ministry financially may do so through donations. Contributions are used exclusively for:

      • Bibles and faith-based spiritual literature

      • Stamps and correspondence supplies for inmates without resources

      • Discipleship and educational materials

      • Website hosting, maintenance, and security

      • Program administration and outreach
